As always, this year's line-up is spectacular.

If you're attending for the first time, you might be wondering what to bring and how to make the most of it. I've put together the perfect guide to help you make the most of it, even if it's your first time! 

Just read this article and you'll be well on your way! It covers everything from ticket reservations to what to bring and tips for the venue. Trust me and follow along!

Let me tell you everything you need to know to make the most of Pentaport. If you prepare in the order I’m about to share, you’ll never be caught off guard at the venue!


1. The most important step: ticket reservations!

The festival starts with ticket reservations. 

Pentaport tickets are usually sold as 3-, 2- or 1-day passes. Limited-edition tickets, which are only sold during a specific period, sell out very quickly, so be sure to check the dates. Keep an eye on the official reservation site for announcements and discounts offered by certain credit card companies.

- Check the official ticket release date and set an alarm in advance!

- Choose your ticket type: Choose a one-day or multi-day pass according to your stamina.

- Check discount information: Make sure you take advantage of all the available benefits.

2. Who is in this year's line-up?

The biggest reason to go to a festival is, of course, the line-up! 

This year marks the festival's 20th anniversary, so the line-up features both domestic and international artists. Legendary overseas bands, as well as talented domestic ones, are all set to perform, making this an exciting event to look forward to.

3. How do I get to the festival?

The venue is Songdo Moonlight Park in Incheon.

If you're travelling by public transport, you'll need to walk a short distance from the subway station, but it's not too far.

 Personally, I recommend taking the free shuttle bus for convenience. Parking is available, but it gets very crowded, so public transport or the shuttle bus are better options.

- Subway: This is the most accurate method, but you will have to walk a short distance from the station.

- Shuttle bus: It runs from major locations and is the most convenient option. (Free!)

- Private car: You'll have to prepare for a battle to find a parking space, but it's convenient if you have a lot of luggage.

4. Must-haves! Essential items checklist:

When you go for the first time, it's hard to know what to bring, isn't it? 

I'll share a list of essential items that I've compiled based on my experience. If you bring these items, you won't encounter any problems at the venue! In particular, don't forget your ID, as this is required for age verification.

Essentials: ID, ticket, picnic blanket, sunscreen, hat, power bank and comfortable shoes.

Optional items include wet wipes, light outerwear, a portable fan and snacks.

5. Enjoy the event to the fullest!

Once you’ve finished preparing, all that’s left to do is enjoy yourself! 

It's a good idea to get there early to secure a good spot. Spread out your picnic blanket to create your own space, then check out the food zone offering a variety of snacks and the official merchandise area.

Most importantly, drink plenty of water and take regular breaks to conserve your energy.
